Bondscoach Santos gebeten hond bij Portugezen na late nederlaag
Portugal leek hard op weg naar de finaleronde van de Nations League, maar kreeg vlak voor tijd alsnog het deksel op de neus. Alvaro Morata schoot Spanje naar de eerste plaats in de groep, de Portugezen rest de tweede plaats in de groep. Op twitter moet bondscoach Fernando Santos (67) het ontgelden bij de Portugezen.

There was never an intend to dominate the game. You can't win with such negative draw game mentality.
Poor but typical of the man...Manager.
This performance/result is where every critic of Santos gets proven correct. Exactly the same as Serbia. Sit back, play for the draw, with a team that should be capable of dominating 90% of games. Cancelo so disappointing. Nuno Mendes the only bright spark. Absolutely gutted.

Many fans will be thinking the same thing… outdated way of looking at the game from Santos. Subs all wrong, Ronaldo should have come off, Matheus or Palhinha should have come on.
We are a very good side but need the right players on that pitch to go deep in the WC
