Johnson aims to repay Moyes

Everton's derby hero Andrew Johnson has insisted he returned to the Barclays Premiership with nothing to prove.

The 25-year-old England international took his tally for his new club to four goals with a double in Saturday's 3-0 victory over arch-rivals Liverpool to further enhance his reputation. However, Johnson, an 8.6million summer signing from Crystal Palace, has revealed he never lost confidence in his own ability despite spending last season in the Coca-Cola Championship.

"Every time I have been given a chance, I would like to think my ratio of goals has been pretty good," he said. "Whether it is in the Championship or the Premiership, if you get a chance, then you still have to put it in the back of the net."
