Jay Bothroyd's late goal stunned Elland Road as Leeds lacked the firepower to break down a resolute Wolves side and paid the price as they lost 1-0.
Second-half substitute Bothroyd unleashed an unstoppable shot from 25 yards that flew passed motionless Leeds goalkeeper Tony Warner in the final minute to earn Wolves their fourth win of the season.
It was tough on Kevin Blackwell's side, who had arguably created the better chances, but although Wolves owed much to their goalkeeper Matt Murray, particularly in the first half, the visitors were a constant threat.
