Paul Mullin made sure Accrington's fairy tale continued as his second-half strike ensured a memorable 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Carling Cup first round.

Stanley boss John Coleman admitted he was impressed to be on the same stage as the four-time League Cup winners - but his side made sure they embarrassed the former Euro kings.

The Reds were by far the better side in the first half with Forest keeper Paul Smith keeping out Gary Roberts and Rommy Boco.
