New Sunderland manager Niall Quinn has revealed that he has made four bids in excess of £1 million. It is believed that Tottenham player Andy Reid is one of the players he has bid for and the others are all premiership players. This comes after Quinn saw his side beaten 2-1 by coventry at the weekend. Sunderland are playing Birmingham tonight which would see Kenny Cunningham play against his old club for the first time after he left during the summer. These new signings would add to the four signings already made of Cunningham, Darrren Ward, Clive Clarke and Robbie Elliott. They are also believed to be poised to sign Barcelona B captain Arnau Riera.
