Everton's Republic of Ireland international winger Kevin Kilbane is the subject of a £750,000 offer from Premiership rivals Fulham as clubs wind up for the final 36 hours before the transfer deadline slams shut.
Kilbane joined Everton from Sunderland on transfer deadline day three years ago, and has made 104 Premiership appearances for the Toffees.
His most recent top flight appearance for David Moyes's side - which could be his last, if Fulham succeed in prising him away from Goodison Park - could be one of his most forgettable: he picked up his first red card in six years in Saturday's win over Spurs at White Hart Lane.
An initial offer of £750,000 is unlikely to be enough to tempt Everton to part with the 29-year-old - but Fulham could yet increase their bid before Thursday night's deadline.
