Pavel Nedved admitted the emotions of his final game for the Czech Republic proved too much as he brought the curtain down on an illustrious international career on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old played the first 45 minutes of a 3-1 friendly defeat to Serbia - their first game since Montenegro claimed independence.
And Nedved, who has played 90 games for his country scoring 18 goals, said: "All my football career came in front of my eyes, from the early start, everything I lived through in this team. It was difficult to concentrate on the game, it was more about the emotions. I was always very proud to play in the national team."
