Wolves' veteran Irish defender Gary Breen will undergo a late fitness test to discern his readiness for Tuesday evening's Coca-Cola Championship clash with Ipswich Town at Molineux.
Breen picked up an ankle injury during Saturday's opening day draw with Plymouth Argyle, enough to force him off after the first half of his Wolves debut.
Initially it seemed that he would face a spell on the sidelines but club physio Barry Holmes has posted an upbeat assessment of the injury.
He said: "The [scan] results were encouraging. There is some bruising there but nothing too serious. Gary will have a fitness test to see whether he can be considered for the match
