Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate on Wednesday pulled off a double transfer coup when he finally landed Jonathan Woodgate and Robert Huth.
The 26-year-old Real Madrid defender and his Chelsea counterpart have both signed for the club after successfully undergoing medicals and completing negotiations on Teesside.
Woodgate joins on a season's loan with an option to buy, while Huth has belatedly completed a 6million permanent move and has signed a five-year contract.
