Torres is not for sale
As expected Torres is a wanted man following his performances thus far. The lightening quick striker has scored 3 goals so far in the World Cup. Consequently numerous clubs are chasing his signature. However the young Athletico captain has said in the past that he would not leave his hometown club for another Spanish side. He went on to say that it would be imposible for him to score or play against his beloved Athletico. His club have announced that they have no intention of selling there superb player and have instead offered to extend his contract. In the past the luckless Athletico have lost Raul to rivals Real Madrid so they will be keen that such a transfer never occurs again.
