Rangers boss Paul LeGuen has turned down the chance to sign former Manchester United keeper Fabien Barthez. Barthez, who is at the World Cup at present, is a free agent after deciding not to sign a new contract at Marseille and would have relished a move to Glasgow. Le Guen is on the lookout for a new keeper following the departure Ronald Waterreus. Barthez's agent Jean-Marie Cantona said: "I know Paul Le Guen very well from his time in France and had a friendly discussion about the possibility of Fabien going to Rangers.
