New Barcelona assistant manager Johan Neeskens has spoken of his delight at returning to the Catalan club where he was a fan's favourite as a player.
The former Dutch star arrived in the Spanish city on Tuesday from Germany, where he is part of the Australia national team's World Cup coaching staff, a position he will leave at the end of the tournament.
Having effectively turned down the chance to replace Guus Hiddink as the Socceroos' new head coach, he told the Barcelona club website, www.fcbarcelona.com: "It's always been my dream to come back to Barcelona."
