Trinidad and Tobago captain Dwight Yorke is banking on his vast experience helping his team-mates at this summer's World Cup.
The Soca Warriors have qualified for the first time but the 34-year-old Yorke is used to the big stage, having helped Manchester United to the treble in 1999. And although the careers of 38-year-old playmaker Russell Latapy, who will retire from international football after the finals, and 37-year-old goalkeeper Shaka Hislop have not been as illustrious, Yorke believes their experience will be equally important.
"I had the pleasure of playing alongside these fantastic players (who will be at the World Cup) and at a fantastic club, and I would like to think my experience would come in," said Yorke.
