Charlton's search for a new manager continues - with one fewer candidate after Peter Taylor withdrew from contention to become the new manager of the Barclays Premiership side.
The Hull manager announced he would be staying at the KC Stadium next season, despite being interviewed for the Addicks vacancy.
Taylor looked a firm favourite to replace Alan Curbishley when he spoke positively about the interview with Charlton officials, describing it as "a privilege and an honour". But told BBC London 94.9: "I still think there's a bit to do at Hull and I want to carry on doing that - I didn't feel comfortable leaving early."
