Luiz Felipe Scolari unveiled his Portugal squad for the 2006 World Cup on Monday with little in the way of surprises. Dinamo Moscow midfielder Costinha, who has been keeping fit with Belenenses, is included in the squad even though he has not played for his Russian club this year because of a contract dispute.
Porto's Vitor Baia, widely regarded as the best goalkeeper in Portugal, remains out of favour with Scolari who has made him an outcast from the national team.
