Real Madrid striker Ronaldo has handed a boost to Brazil national team manager Carlos Alberto Parreira by declaring himself fit after a battle against a thigh injury.
Ronaldo missed the last six games of Real's La Liga campaign with the problem.
However, he has joined up with the Brazil squad and insists he is ready for next month's World Cup finals in Germany.
The top scorer in the 2002 finals with eight goals, Ronaldo is certain to be in the starting line-up - despite a disappointing season at club level - when the holders take on Croatia in their Group F opener on Tuesday, June 13th.
Parreira has already declared that, fitness permitting, he will field the Fantastic Four of Ronaldo, Adriano, Ronaldinho and Kaka in their first World Cup outing.
