Glenn Roeder insists he is fully focused on Newcastle's clash against Chelsea despite the uncertainty surrounding his position at St James' Park.
Roeder is caretaker boss at the club and does not have the UEFA pro-licence needed for a permanent appointment, although he could get the job if backed by other Premiership chairmen.
"It's something I have no control over," Roeder told Sky Sports. "What will be will be, I'm just focused on the game against Chelsea - it would be stupid to think about other things right now."
