Moyes dismisses Cahill reports

David Moyes insists he will make the final decision about Everton's Tim Cahill's availability for the World Cup with the midfielder set to miss the final game of the Barclays Premiership season against West Brom with a knee injury.

Cahill sustained the injury against against Birmingham a fortnight ago, also forcing him out of the win at Middlesbrough, and the Everton chief has been irritated by Australian claims the 26-year-old will be back in training next week.

Moyes, who will also be without the injured Richard Wright and Tony Hibbert against the Baggies, said: "Tim is looking much better, but there is no miracle cure in Australia and if there was I am sure they would send Wayne Rooney there. Tim will be back when we say he is fit and ready and not when the witch doctors in Australia say he is."
