Kewell ruled out of Australia game
Liverpool midfielder Harry Kewell has been ruled out for the fixture against Greece. This follows a groin strain that he picked up during the FA cup final. The 27-year-old limped off the pitch at the start of the second half in Cardiff and Australian team physiotherapist Les Gelis said on Monday that scans revealed he would be out of action for three weeks.
Kewell will remain in Europe to undergo treatment with Liverpool and Australia medical staff before linking up with his international team mates in the Netherlands on May 27.
