England and Chelsea defender John Terry has denied he has a gambling problem.
Terry rubbished stories he had bet 50,000 on horse racing at the Cheltenham Festival but admitted he had cashed in on "a couple of tips".
"The figures that have started to be bandied about concerning my gambling are a joke," Terry told the Daily Mirror. "I haven't got a gambling problem. I had a couple of tips at Cheltenham this year and I had two winners at 11-1 and 8-1. I ended up being a few hundred quid up and yet suddenly there are stories that I bet 50,000."
