Sweden have appointed scouts for each of their three World Cup opponents in an attempt to improve their chances at this summer's finals.
Thomas Lyth, Goran Goransson and Benny Lenartsson have all been involved with the Swedish national team for some time, and they will play a key role in providing information for Lars Lagerback and his players on group rivals England, Paraguay and Trinidad and Tobago The three men have already been given DVD's of each team's matches, but there is still plenty more to do.
"It is important for us to watch the teams live as well," Lyth, who is spying on England, told Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet. "Then you get a view of the whole pitch and can study the players' intentions."
