It has been reported today that "Big Phil" is in talks with the Englsih FA. The former Brazil coach and current Portugal manager will have a tough ride with the English media if appointed. As many beleive its time that England had a English manager to replace Sven. The reported news that the Englsih FA flew out to Lisbon has made Scolari firm favourite to take over the most demanding management job in football.
FA chief executive Brian Barwick and lawyer Simon Johnson are believed to have flown out to Lisbon to offer the current Portugal boss the job of succeeding Sven Goran Eriksson. Scolari's contract with Portugal finishes after this years World Cup. And the Brazilian has stated in the past that his future will be decided after the World Cup in Germany. However the reported news that Scolari has met with the FA must make him firm favourite for the job.
