Botlon manager Sam Alladyce has denied rumours that controversial striker El Hadji Diouf is set to leave the Reebok Stadium.
The Senegalse international annoyed Sam after he has been claiming injury, after a hernia had kept him out previously, when physio's at the club could find nothing wrong. This prompted Alladyce to accuse Diouf of having problems mentally rather than physically. The manager is rumoured to be upset with the 25-year-olds attitude since returning from the African Cup of Nations but denies that he will let him leave.
"I have no doubt El Hadji Diouf will be here next season," Alladyce said "but he is finished for this one." Diouf has played just twice in early April since returning from his home nation but Alladyce is hoping the player will be fit and ready for next term.
