West Ham captain Nigel Reo-Coker has urged the Football Association to "make the right decision" and clear Hayden Mullins to play in the FA Cup final.
Mullins and Luis Garcia were sent off after a scuffle in Liverpool's 2-1 Barclays Premiership win over West Ham at Upton Park on Wednesday night.
West Ham and Liverpool have lodged formal appeals, claiming wrongful dismissal, and the cases will be heard by an FA disciplinary commission on Friday. Reo-Coker said: "It is unbelievable what happened to Hayden. Hopefully the FA will make a good decision because there was not much in it."
