Milan coach Marco Ancelotti has again stifled rumours of a possible switch to Chelsea for captain Andrei Shevchenko.

Not for the first time, Chelsea's billionaire owner, Roman Abramovich is reportedly very keen to bring the formidable striker to Stamford Bridge in the summer. Shevchenko, himself, has repeatedly stressed his desire to stay in Milan.

Ancelotti has claimed that the 29 year old striker has no interest in joining the Blues and is adamant that his top scorer wants to stay at the club

The Milan coach told Sky Sports News "I don't think he is interested in Chelsea. He wants to stay with us", and went on to comment on the Ukrainian's "special relationship" with the club.

Any transfer would be of an explosive proportion but it is suggested that Abramovich would be only too happy to splash out on the hot-shot. Shevchenko's record speaks for itself over the years and his tally this season in the Serie A is no different. The striker has scored 19 goals in 25 appearances in the league as well as scoring the most in the Champions League this campaign.
