Charlton's Icelandic defender Hermann Hreidarsson has been handed a 3 match suspension by the Football Association for violent conduct.
The current Charlton captain pleaded guilty after he was caught on camera elbowing Fulham's match hero Luis Boa Morte during the Premiership match this Saturday. His plead of guilty ment that the 3 match ban, which will halt his season, comes into immediate effect and he will be unable to play the last games against Bolton, Blackburm and Manchester United.
This comes as a major blow to the addicks in what could prove to be a tough end to the campaign for the club. After the comeback win against Pompey Charlton lie 11th and still have slender chances of a top 7 finish which could ultimately lead to European qualification.
