Liverpool and West Ham have expectedly lodged appeals against the red cards of Luis Garcia and Hayden Mullins respectively after they clashed in Wednesday nights game.
The two midfielders were in a scuffle late on in the match which Liverpool ended winning 2-1. Referee Howard Webb showed no hesitation in showing both of them straight reds which would mean 3 match bans and consiquently would mean neither will play in the FA Cup final between the two teams. Both Benitez and Pardew said after the game that they would be appealling the decision and have done so today. Their cases will be heard by a disciplinary commission on Friday and they must wait to see if they will be allowed to take part on the 13th May.
