Brazil president backs 2014 Cup bid

Brazil President Luiz Inacio 'Lula' Da Silva will support the country's governing body of football if it bids for the 2014 World Cup.

Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) supremo Ricardo Teixeira visited Lula on Tuesday and the President said: "Nothing is better than to host a World Cup for a country in which football is the most important passion of their people.

"I'll totally back president Ricardo Teixeira to have the chance to host a World Cup after 64 years."
