Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has signed a new two-year contract with Manchester United.
The Old Trafford outfit confirmed the news on Friday morning.
Solskjaer's present deal was due to run out at the end of the season and there had been fears the Norwegian - who famously scored United's Champions League winner against Bayern Munich in 1999 - might not play for the club again after he sustained a fractured cheekbone in a recent reserve-team outing with Middlesbrough.
