Millwall director Constantine Gonticas has revealed that his club Millwall offered Roy Keane a player manager role with the club. However Keane decided to sign for Celtic instead. This must have tempted the former Ireland Captain, as it is well know that Keane is determined to become a manager in the near future.

Gonticas is quoted as saying "We offered him the chance to become player-manager and, given that he was leaving Old Trafford, thought the challenge might have caught his imagination,"

With Keane considering his future at Celtic at the end of the season it may not be long before he considers a management position.
