Tottenham Hotspur manager Martin Jol has today revealed that he will be expecting a fight to the finish for fourth spot in the Premiership.

Tottenham are the favourites to take the position and gain access to the UEFA Champions League, however Arsenal, Blackburn, Bolton and Wigan are all still in the race.

"We have to get our results and if we do that we won't have to focus on other teams. We need our wins, Arsenal, Blackburn, Bolton and Wigan will ensure it is a big battle until the end of the season," said the coach.

However luck has not all gone Spurs' way this season as they failed to gain all three points against some of the lower teams in the Premiership, and boss Jol admits he is disappointed.

"We got a clean sheet against Birmingham, a habit we had earlier in the season, but the month of February was very disappointing because we gave easy goals away. It is often about balance; we are still not there, but we are in fourth spot so there are a lot of positives."
