Premiership champions Chelsea have been charged by the Football Association following last weekend's game against West Bromwich Albion, a game in which Chelsea midfielder Arjen Robben was sent off.
Robben, a highly rated international superstar was shown the red card for lunging in at West Brom's Jonathan Greening. The game then descended into outrage as players surrounded referee Mark Halsey.
The Blues have now been charged after an incident involving Greening again, but this time for a sickening challenge on Claude Makelele, in which some reports suggested was as bad as the earlier challenge that earned Robben a red card.
Albion have not been charged, but Chelsea were alleged to have broken rule E20, which states that players must remain conducted in orderly fashion.
"We are seriously concerned at the increasing incidence of players vehemently approaching match officials apparently with the intention of seeking changes in decisions," read an official F.A statement.
The two clubs will now receive letters reminding them of their conduct during the game.
