Birmingham midfielder Jiri Jarosik says he is very happy with his life at St Andrews, despite their battle to stay in the Premiership.

The midfielder is currently on loan at Birmingham from Chelsea and is the clubs top scorer, which has secured him a first team place.

Birmingham are struggling to stay above the drop zone and Jarosik confirmed that everybody is under pressure, including manager Steve Bruce. "Everyone at the club is under pressure, we are still in the relegation zone and have to win points," said the Czech.

"We have many great players, competition is big, I am glad just to be among the nominated players. I play regularly at Birmingham so I can't have a beef about it. That is also why I came in the summer from Chelsea where I played not so often," Explained Jarosik.

The youngster is also happy with the role that Czech Republic manager Karel Bruckner gives him. "I am pleased with the attacking tasks rather than the defensive ones, I have to play very offensively at Birmingham," Added the midfielder

"There are other bulldogs to fulfil defensive tasks so I play either as left midfielder or the coach puts me directly into attack and both these roles suit me," Jarosik told Sky Sports.
